F A Q
What is
the difference between an auction estimate and an appraisal?
An auction estimate
is a preliminary estimate of the amount an item may sell for at auction.
An appraisal is a formal written valuation for estate, tax, or insurance
purposes.
How much does a
auction estimate cost?
Nothing, auction
estimates are free.
How do I get an
auction estimate?
The best way of
obtaining an estimate is to send us photos of the items either by email or
by postal mail. For multiple items we gladly do housecalls.
We are restoring an antebellum
home in Brewton and need investment grade antiques furnishings.
Can you advise? Do
you travel? Yes,
I can help and yes, I travel. I have several clients in your area and will
be happy to work with you.
