Appraisals:  We accurately appraise objects for insurance purposes, donation, damage claims, market value, dissolution of marriage and equitable distribution. Objects and their makers are researched thoroughly, identified and documented. Empire Antiques specializes in American & European Fine & Decorative Arts, Antique Furniture, Coins, Clocks & Watches, Military Collectibles, Historical Documents, Arms & Armament, and Estate Jewelry. Each piece of property to be included in the appraisal report is meticulously examined by the appraiser. The appraiser observes the characteristics of each item, noting condition, obtaining measurements and taking photographs. When the item cannot be examined due to loss, damage, or theft, the appraiser can "reconstruct" the item based upon critical assumptions obtained from interviews and previous photographs, etc. Value conclusions for appraisals are based upon comparable sales analysis for each item. Research time is the time taken to identify marks and labels, to verify dates, to locate comparable items, to investigate markets, and to consult experts as needed. This approach produces an accurate report that fully protects you and your property.

Auctions:  Whether it’s one piece or your entire collection, Empire Antiques would love to handle the sale of your item(s). Auctions are a very effective and efficient way of converting personal property into cash. We place your items in a sale that will bring you the highest prices possible. Ebay Consignment Service:  Empire Antique Services’ eBay drop-off store, Empire Auction Drop, will turn your unwanted or unneeded items into cash! We have been selling a wide variety of items (they don’t have to be antiques!) on eBay since 1999. Over the last 8 years we have developed strategies to ensure that you receive the maximum price for your items. We have achieved Power Seller status on eBay for our high dollar sales volume and positive customer feedback. We are also a registered eBay Trading Assistant. When you bring your items to our store, we will ensure that they are suitable for sale on eBay and will contract with you to sell the items.

Location and Buying Consultation for Investment Quality Antiques:  Empire Antiques Services will gladly authenticate, inspect, and evaluate objects that you have interest in acquiring. We will also represent you at auction and bid on items for you. This helps the buyer avoid the frustrations of doing business with merchants that do not warrant their goods.
